Summary
Halloween is easily Luz’s favourite holiday – Scary costumes, free candy, and a day where being weird is a good thing? What’s not to love!
As it begins to reach that time back on the Human Realm, however, she learns the Boiling Isles has not a holiday, but an irregular force of nature known as called ‘Valeween’, where the Witches and Demons of the Isles gather together, share food, and... Board up their houses and windows.
In a truly Boiling Isles twist, Valeween signifies the arrival of the Cherubim - A swarm of insect-like creatures which shoot beams at people and drink a blue goo from them - A side effect of which being that anyone affected is forced to give their honest thoughts and feelings to those that they see - And in many cases, give in to impulse.
Why is everyone so scared of this day? Why have the trees gone black? And why is Amity so on edge?

Another page was flipped over as Amity continued to read. Her thoughts were now starting to fill up with memories and feelings regarding her newfound revelation, and Amity had reached a conclusion of her own.
Luz was cruel too.
But Luz wasn’t aware of when she had been cruel. And she was never cruel intentionally. Far from it. Luz was cruel by being so, so kind, and so… Herself, that it made Amity’s heart ache over and over again."
After Grom, Amity finds herself with a dozen feelings that she can't even begin to make sense of - Of course, she was already aware she had a crush on Luz, but it's sheer intensity leaves her confused about everything.As she begins to figure out the extent of her feelings towards Luz, and becomes more and more aware of the Human, she can't help but note all the ways that let her get close to Luz, and that let her soothe her aching heart for just a short while, and the ways Luz seems to make that heartache worse, even if it is unintentionally.
And there's something that feels almost cruel about that.

Izuku Midoriya may not have a Quirk, but he does possess something unique - He's an immortal Ajin, incapable of death, even if he is shot through the head, or stabbed through the heart. Even rarer, he's a Variant, one only three cases in the whole word, able to create a black Ghost to do his bidding. Like all Ajin, he's also capable of a variety of Ajin powers, including a scream that causes all Humans around him to freeze in position.
Despite their immortality, Ajin do possess a number of weaknesses, and there are ways to combat them. While they do possess Human level intelligence, and are biologically the same as Humans aside from their immortality, Ajin are greatly feared by the general public due to their inability to die. Many view Ajin not as Human beings at all, but as freaks of nature that need to be contained. Horror stories of Ajin hunts have become popular.
Orphaned at thirteen, Izuku joins the Ajin League of Villains with nowhere else to go. He reappears two years later, with only three goals in mind.
Get into Yuuei. Become the first Ajin Hero. And eradicate the Ajin League of Villains.
