"I want him to acknowledge me. I'm going to make him acknowledge me. I won't waste even one pitch, one second."
This isn't the first time Sawamura Eijun has chased after Miyuki Kazuya.
Sometimes, it feels like it's all he's ever done.
But he can no more ignore the pull of Miyuki Kazuya than the Earth can ignore the pull of the Sun. It's intrinsic, instinctive, as natural and unstoppable a force as gravity.
And he knows Miyuki feels it, too.
How could he not? They're the most-intricately linked Soulmates in history, after all. While others only experience the tell-tale golden shimmer of a soulmark, perhaps a gentle tingling sensation when their soulmate is especially hurt, Eijun and Kazuya are different.
They steal each other's pain.

"Hold my son for a moment," says the Viktor Nikiforov, live in the flesh, sweaty and panting.
"Wha—" Yuuri can't even begin to comprehend what's going on before Viktor is gone, and there's a child in his arms.
(in which yuuri is a barista-turned-babysitter, viktor is a famous movie star, and yuri is an 8 year old kid stuck in the middle of it.)
"The painting must not merely capture his physical features, for that may as well be the same as a photograph, so why pay for an artist just to receive some bland, emotionless image? Something like that would tell the viewer nothing about him. An image like this, one that is shown to someone who will become his mate, should encapsulate his entire essence. That is the type of art I aim to achieve and present to your family by the end of the courting season.”
Kazuya Miyuki is hired as the artist to paint Eijun Sawamura's betrothal portrait, but this summer, he ends up falling in love with his subject instead.
Every Victor Nikiforov fan has three things in common.
1. They have unrealistic expectations for romance.
2. They mark their calendars with the dates of his newest book releases and the premieres of his latest movie adaptations.
3. They either passionately hate or love his greatest rival, a mysterious author whose pseudonym is only two letters: “KY.”
Victor Nikiforov is poised to win gold in his fifth consecutive Grand Prix Final. He has the world at his feet, is unparalleled in the sport--right up until a snowstorm blows into Sochi, and he finds himself repeating the same day over and over and over. He stumbles over Yuuri Katsuki, and everything changes.
