Summary
Midoriya Izuku doesn’t understand. He was raised to believe that hero’s were the shining beacons of hope and safety while villains were cruel thieves and murderers. So why? Why have heroes and citizens alike denied him and suppressed him again and again, driving him to trying to end it all? And why is a ragtag group of misfit villains the only group of people willing to extend their hands and try and make a family from all their broken pieces? Izuku doesn’t understand. But what he does know is that he finally found people he wants to protect. He may not be a professional hero, but what is a flimsy title when he finds solace in protecting those who actually appreciate it.
