Summary
Silence stretched for what felt like hours in the observation room, none of them unfazed enough to make an utterance.
Midnight promptly broke it with an astonished “Holy shit,” as one of the stronger applicants lifted Midoriya off of the torn up street, per Chiyo’s request.
“Teachers of UA,” Nedzu addressed, feeling quite giddy. “Meet Midoriya Izuku, our top scorer in both the practical and written exams.” Nedzu rolled the video back to Izuku standing in the dust, the girl leaning heavily against him as he stared at the Zero-pointer with determination instead of fear.

“A villain,” She began, unsure and regretful. “is someone who wants to hurt other people and cause harm. A villain doesn’t feel remorse. But, Izuku,” She said, letting her tone become soft. “The term shouldn’t be given so readily. A child who stole food because he is starving is no villain, just a child in need. Our society is quick to judge and lay blame but you have to think, Izuku. You have to look ahead and take a step back to see the bigger picture, then look again for the details.”
“How do I do that?” He looked so trusting, so innocent, as he watched her expression.
“Well,” Inko laughed. “I think it helps to take notes.”
Inko didn’t want to teach him what an Unseeable was.
But now, she needed toTheir quirks were not telekinesis, per se. Telekinesis made things float in the air. The Midoriyas pulled on things.
And that, small, seemingly insignificant detail, was what made their quirks so utterly terrifying.

Ron strode up to the stool with a grim determination on his face. He glanced at Haley, sitting alone with the rest of Slytherin leering and grinning because they got Potter. No one thought much of him as he sat on the stool; another Weasley, another Gryffindor.
But the Hat took a minute. It asked him if he was sure, if he wanted to do this.
Ron said yes, he knew exactly what he was doing.
