I bet this is still not going to work just the same as the last time I tried to put an image in...
Gosh! It worked that time, at least when I checked it.

I've done magical creature body-swaps before, but this is my first main-character body-swap. Hope it's amusing!

Summary
A sequel to "The Dreadful Scrapbook", which Nef posted for me when I had a rest from the fandom following an attack of bad health.
It eventually occurred to me, what's our Gilbert been doing with the Dreadful Scrapbook in the Darkness--and what if Jonathan found out?

Bookmarker's Notes
I still love the way Martha writes, both the style and the manner. Very particularly that, like M R James, she tends to write to a point just short of what I find uncomfortable in horror, and stay at disturbing. Part of the "disturbing" is about mental health, stigma, and treatment, which is a powerful subject to me.
(I'd also love to see her original fic up here, even though it seems it'll never be finished).

The thing that’s hard to remember about Nightingale is that he’s only sort of lived through the past seventy-plus years.

NIghtingale manages a real faux pas with Facebook. Very funny indeed, and a neat premise for Starlingale!

Summary
The year is 1773, and various churches in Europe are in a race to convert the newly-contacted peoples of South America to their particular flavor of Christianity. But something strange has been going on: the missionaries keep vanishing and nobody knows what's been happening to them, not even Heaven or Hell. So, of course, they both had to send their 'best' Earth-side observers to get some answers.
...They're going to wish they hadn't. And so are the observers.
(tl;dr Azi gets cursed by a Mayan god, and he and Crowley have to figure out how to break it before it's too late. READ THE TAGS.)

The horror and tension aspects of this really work! I have also been reading pro fiction from an author on LibraryThing that wasn't half as well-written.

Summary
There is, for various reasons, no easy way to say to a person hey - your friend and mine, the last competent magician in England, stepped out at ten this morning with a last admonition to his apprentices to get their latin homework done whilst he followed up on an uninteresting lead on our latest magical murder case and he hasn’t been seen in the eight hours since.
Nightingale worries a witch; Peter is in the dog house; Lesley rails against the concept of politeness; the world is deprived of another Fenton video on YouTube.
