As Rollins is getting briefed in a closed door meeting with Liv, Deputy Chief Dodds, and the multitude of other players in this undercover operation, she flips through the file with eager curiosity. Sex trafficking… ok, pretty run of the mill in this job. A private club… intriguing. High rollers… even better since she won’t be slumming in fleabag motels or worse. It’s “Mandy’s” operation that is coming into play. They will be investigating and cracking into a female run trafficking consortium that needs to be exposed. That’s interesting. At least for this job she won’t have to play a subservient part. That will be the role of her undercover boyfriend, whose job description in the file includes being at 'Mandy’s' beck and call for anything and everything, including feeding her sexual appetite. These women are vicious and competitive. Appearances will have to be seamless, flawless… real.
It’s then that Amanda realizes that the other half of the undercover couple she’s supposed to be is not present, nor has been named. She watches the room curiously, biding her time, waiting for the precise moment to inquire about her “boyfriend”, a man who will be such a specifically intimate part of her character’s story.
