Summary
The rental space had been empty for six months and Bucky had made his peace after the nice old yarn lady had left. She would try to flirt with him and give him yarn, which resulted with him having a drawer full of yarn that he’ll probably never use. She had been quiet at least.
A week ago, construction had started and Bucky had snuck a peek and cringed at the black paint on the walls. It looked like it was going to be a gym and then the name went up.

“You could have just told me not to touch it,” Stiles points out sensibly, squirming inside with something he refuses to believe might be guilt.
Not about the dumb plant, but the instant devastation he’s currently overwhelmingly and inescapably capable of. He can destroy with one touch now.
This is going to complicate things so much.
Or the one where Stiles tries to do the noble self-sacrificing thing: gains a new power, a spectral skin colour and basically ruins his own life. 0/10 would not recommend.

“That’s the bouncer?” Derek asked, incredulously.
Laura laughed at his expression. “Hey, looks can be deceiving. All the time I’ve been coming here, it’s always been pretty peaceful. I also have a suspicion that everybody keeps the peace because they’re afraid that Stiles will talk them to death if they step out of line.”
Derek shrugged. Who was he to judge? He could scent Stiles from where he was and he smelled human.
“Just think about it though, a human bouncer in a supernatural bar?”
Laura smirked. Derek had the distinct feeling she knew something that he didn’t know. “I’m just sayin’, don’t underestimate him.” she said, cryptically.
