    In a universe where Poe was never captured and FN-2187 never defected, the Resistance has fought the First Order to a standstill, and the two sides agree to a peace treaty so they can retreat and lick their wounds. One of the terms of the treaty is that, to symbolize the new detente, a representative of each side shall wed the other...and of course the Generals can only ask their most loyal fighters to step forwards.

    Poe's more than a little dubious about marrying a Stormtrooper, but for the sake of peace, he'll do almost anything. And FN-2187 will do his duty.

The problem is, Finn needs Poe to help him make his daring escape - but will Poe's heart be safe in the process?
