Tessa, a Toronto-based stylist that runs her own company (Virtuous Style) has a rescued yorkshire named Holmes. Scott, a figure skating coach, has a wiener named Chewie. They decide to enter their annual Halloween costume competition at the local shelter, in London. She dresses her dog as Sherlock Holmes; he dresses his as a hot dog. Their dogs find each other at the contest and become instant buddies.
