    So. Because I can't bring myself to write even though I'm full of ideas, and I can't draw overly well enough to want to share it, I have decided to show my appreciation through podfics, since reading aloud is something that I've been told I'm at least okay at.

    Also, taking classes for public speaking is so not up my alley. If I'm going to have to get used to speaking more clearly and with better pronunciation and enunciation, might as well do it in a way that's also appreciative towards the amazing people that write fanfiction

    “Yes, I think I will,” he said, but the tone had Percy’s ears prickling. “You demigods like to complain about what we do to your parents. Now you’re scared of what I’ll do to you.”

    Percy froze, a primal fear he’d never once felt with Apollo flickering down his spine.

    “But you don’t know the half of it,” Apollo continued. “I’m sure you’ve wondered what keeps us here, in your more philosophical moments.”

    Apollo had hardly expected to fall this hard, especially not for a demigod. But, in retrospect, he should have known. Percy Jackson always did seem to be the exception to the rules. Even Poseidon, who hadn't cared for one of his demigod children in centuries, loved Percy to a degree that startled most other gods.

    Or, Apollo is feeling rather nostalgic when he meets Percy after one of the demigod's mythology classes. Percy just wants to relax.
