Nowadays, almost all systems treat this line as gospel. System 9566 however… It vanishes manhole covers in front of rich housewives and promising scientists. It poisons happily married businessmen with two and a half kids and a house in the suburbs then transmigrates them into the Big Damn Hero they never wanted to be.

Ning Xue is somewhat resigned to the fact that's she's been forcefully transmigrated. Thank the ancestors that it's a BL novel and she can just focus on cultivating immortality!

So maybe her self-preservation took a little battering when she decided she'd help the crazy humans close the hole in the sky... and a little more when she said, sure, why not mess with the Tevinter magister in possession of time-travel hocus-pocus... and a little more when she propositioned the angry, incredibly hot elf she got stuck with in the cave-in... who turned out to be an ancient elven god...
But hey, at least the sex is fantastic. She bet Solas' dreams never showed him anything like this.
