“Do you know what you did wrong?” Diluc asked as he sauntered around Kaeya’s kneeling form, a predator circling its prey.
Kaeya swallowed thickly and flashed Diluc a smile, too forced and bright to be genuine as he struggled to conceal the agitation beneath. “I should have called for backup?” he tried, a nervous chuckle leaving his lips.
Crimson eyes flashed as he glared down at Kaeya, his expression dulled, devoid of any emotion.

“Megumi,” he responded, and then, something shifted in the atmosphere. The man’s- Toji’s eyes, although barely detectable behind the mask, seemed to gleam under the moonlight, a mysterious smile curling on his scarred lips. Wicked.
His heart stuttered inside his chest as Toji gently took hold of his hand, brushing his thumb softly over the back of Megumi’s hand before leaning forward to press his lips against it.
“Then, if I may, would you do me the honor of sharing a dance with me,” Toji glanced up, lips still brushing over his hand, a teasing touch, as he whispered, “Megumi?”

Megumi blinked, his breath hitching inside his throat at the deep and smooth voice that spoke back to him.
His eyes are back to normal, he noted, a single bead of sweat rolling down his forehead.
"Fushiguro..."
The curse's features softened into something humane, lips stretching into a small smirk. "Not Zen'in, huh?"
Megumi only had a moment of confusion before pain flared at the back of his head, and his eyes fluttered, staggering on his legs as he felt light-headed.
