Summary
"What did they do?" Stephen Strange gasped, his horrified eyes fixed on his mutilated hands.
"They rushed you in a chopper but it took a little while to find you. The golden hours for the nerve damage went by while you were in the car", Christine told him in a dejected voice, slightly rubbing his shoulder to offer support.
"What did they do?" Stephen asked again, in a voice full of desperation as a tear rolled down his cheek.
"11 stainless steel pins in the bones, multiple torn ligaments, severe nerve damage in both hands, you were on the table for 11 hours", Christine gave him a brief account of his severe injuries.
"Look at these fixators", his voice shook with agony.
"No one could have done better", Christine said, her voice depicting the sorrow she felt.
What if there was someone who could have done better? And how it would have changed Dr. Strange's life?

Summary
These events took place after Season 3 of Designated Survivor.
Tom Kirkman is dealing with his grief and guilt of Alex's death and after losing all his friends he is moving towards abyss of depression. He questions his ability to properly execute his duties as President of US. What will happen when his continuously increasing depression and guilt will start to take a toll on his health and decisions. And will anyone be able to help him and heal his broken heart.
P.S. I have kept Emily Rhodes as Chief of Staff until last episode of season 3 so no Mars Harper here. She has left President Kirkman after giving him recording of President Moss. -
