Valentina Carvajal was the star soccer player at Edon High, graduating top of her class with plans to study journalism and continue playing soccer at the local University. It was the summer before she started school when she became a camp counselor / coach at Edon High’s girls summer soccer camp. Other than the freshman, there was an unfamiliar face that Valentina didn’t recognize.
