Based on a conversation from a prompt (that I still haven't looked at) from @hrfiction aka the incredibly evil Haley Ross, who is reveling in the torture this story is causing me.
Set early S4, post-Chloe betrayal, pre-Eve arrival. Lucifer is a mess, spiraling and trying to self-medicate in usual manner until he's awakened by a dark-haired, dark-eyed toddler sitting on his chest and telling him to get up.
Chaos ensues.

Set just before Trip to Stabby Town. It's Christmas, and Ella's family is visiting for the holidays, which means at least a solid two weeks of being pestered about her love life. Her non-existent love life. In steps Lucifer Morningstar, who is more than happy to make a deal and be her pretend boyfriend for the season.
It only takes one fake-date practice run, however, for Ella to realize the method actor doesn't have a clue about how to be the kind of boyfriend her family will be happy about. Already overwhelmed with having to do the forensic work of ten people, she begs for the only person who spends enough time with Lucifer to give him advice and train him up. Chloe. -

Revolution is currently on hiatus until I can finish at least 2 of my 3 other WIPs. I love this story and it deserves more attention than I can give it right now but I WILL BE BACK.
This is a continuation from the Season 6 finale, SPOILERS WILL ABOUND. Picks up where S6 leaves off, and continues from there. Millennia pass in Hell with Lucifer working to restructure it into a soul rehabilitation center with little-to-no help from his family, despite promises made by his brother, the new God. The backlog of redeemable souls is infinite, and utterly impossible to resolve with the handful of people actually working toward the goal and God refusing to help tweak the filtration system. Eventually, a certain new arrival spurs Lucifer and his crew of volunteers to take steps to shake things up in Heaven if they can't get the justice they desire for the souls placed in their charge.

She gnaws on her gum. Shifts, slightly, to ebb the ache between her legs. He stares at his hand, lost in thought, and she resists the urge to ask him, please, to just fucking kiss her already.
But that would be begging. And — more importantly — that would prove Lucifer Morningstar right.
So she prepares to unclasp her necklace, or peel off her socks, or fling a piece of lint from her pants, because if this is how he wants to play then she can certainly keep up.
“Shirt,” he says, without looking up from his glass.
She freezes.
He must sense her silence, or her failure to move, because he looks up with black eyes flashing in the dark.
“Detective,” he echoes, voice dangerously low. “Take off your shirt.”

Summary
Chloe Decker died when Jimmy Barnes's bullet hit her in the heart, but it wasn't supposed to happen that way. Lucifer was supposed to save Chloe, but he couldn't. So, when God orders his sons to resurrect Chloe, Lucifer starts to feel protective about Chloe's transition back to Earth. They manage the resurrection, but now that Chloe's back on Earth, she feels disconnected. Disconnected from her family and her job. The one person who seems to understand is Lucifer, so she confides in him, takes comfort in him. Lucifer simply thought he was giving Chloe the chance to relive her life, but now, he's finding he's much more invested in how she chooses to live that life and if he might be a part of it.
