Izuku has had it a little... rough, to have a little mercy with how his childhood has been. Singing songs was never supposed to hurt anyone, and he wanted to be a hero. And heroes help people.
So why is he seeing his parents being engulfed in flames? Why does his belly hurt? Why is there a man whose eyes are being swallowed by mean dark things? Why is a star in the shape of a man next to him?
Izuku had a lot of questions and he just wants to watch birds and play with the stars.
Where Izuku has been wandering the streets, has a singing quirk, is autistic, and Shouta and Hizashi are looking for another street cat to adopt.

“Izuku Midoriya… that’s my name.”
The clerk shook her head, a sad yet resigned expression on her face. “No honey, it’s not.”
In a world where your name decides your class, only can being quirkless become synonymous with being nameless.

Midoriya Izuku didn't have much, his "friends" ridiculed and tortured him, his teachers neglected him. But he did have his parents! And that was enough for him.
What happens now?

To anyone who met Izuku Midoriya in public, he was an anxious but ambitious child who has an unattainable dream.
But to the people in the shadows, the misfits and outcasts, the people who toe the thin grey line between the two worlds that society has made, he’s Sparrow, a vicious informant who will give you all the deepest details on whoever you pay him to get information on. He tracks down criminals and scares them into the hands of the law, yet turns around and gives information to someone who has commited multiple felonies in the past week.
Shota Aizawa has mixed feelings about the bird: He’s put away the most elusive criminals, solved cases the entire prefecture was stuck on, but gave away secrets, secrets that most heroes swore on their careers (read: lives) would never escape the walls of a meeting room. Also, the little bastard is too snarky for his liking.
And yet as the bird flies, a flock follows.
Or: Another fic where Izu is a snarky informant, but this time, he’s bird themed.

Midoriya has always be seen as weird by his peers. As if it's not bad enough to be seen as a weakling, he has to be seen as a weird weakling. But honestly, he's determined not to be a weakling.
What if YUTS!Deku was less afraid to admit what his quirk was in his childhood.
