Edmund the Just, but he wasn’t. Not always. For a single year of his life, he was bitter and angry and scared.
It’s been one year on Earth and he’s been to Narnia three times. He’s been to war twice. He’s fought uncountable battles that are now songs in Narnia which became so popular that he’ll hum them in grocery store lines. Lucy will become a nurse, Susan will fight for women’s rights, and Peter will look after the professor and become one himself. He can see that all laid out, their paths so certain like they were when they stepped through the wardrobe.
Edmund stares at his hands when he forges papers to try to squeak through the enlistment process. He pulls his hat close to his head and tries to stand up to his once 6’2” frame.
Edmund the Just.
Or a character study of Edmund and how he came to break with Aslan. Or how Edmund came to adopt a bunch of kids and became a lawyer.

Or: Jaskier becomes privy to the start of the zombie apocalypse. He begins to work with the only three people that are trying to end it before it can even begin. To save the world, he'll have to work with people he grew up hearing about in fairytales. Who are, coincidentally, also very, very hot. If the zombies don't kill him, they definitely will.Jaskier is actually already having a pretty shit day when the zombie apocalypse starts. Of course, he doesn’t automatically know that’s what’s happening, because zombie apocalypses are the stuff of average TV shows and above-average movies, and really good video games. They’re not supposed to be real, lunging for the bank-teller’s neck on the day Jaskier is here to do the perfectly normal chore of fighting to the death with a teller over his most recent credit card bill.
