A loud bang stops his heart for a split second, the camera becoming shaky with his jump. Laughing it off, he continues with his report on the place.
Caught unaware, only a couple of his fans noticed the large shadow forming behind the famous gamer. The air grows steadily colder, sharp and crisp as it bites the male’s pale skin and marks his cheeks red. Arata continues talking, not once looking at the screen nor the comments that grow more and more frantic as the looming shadow takes form. He barely pays the cold much attention. It doesn't bother him but does alert him to a supernatural presence.

Akane had decided to set Satoru up on a blind date. The date was a jerk and stood Satoru up but fortunately, he didn't have to endure any embarrassment as someone decides to step in, which they spend their time together before splitting ways and meeting again.
Au where Kanoichi Satoru got stood up by his date and Arata runs in looking all flustered as if he’d been running a mile and sits down with apologies spilling past his lips because he was late. Satoru doesn’t know him but he’s cute and saving him from embarrassment is enough to allow him to treat him to dinner.
(Takes place a little before the silkworm god arc and ends with the amusement park chapter)
