"A deal? What kind of deal?" Vi takes a deep breath, preparing herself to sound like she is crazy. "Let's say two people made a bet about us becoming a couple, and the person that bet we could become a couple, told me they would give me the money if I helped them win."Kiramman crosses her arms, both of her eyebrows shooting up, Vi couldn't blame her. She wouldn’t have believed it at first either. "And you are asking me to help you? Pretend that we’re together?" she asks, her pompous accent more noticeable than normal, the accent Vi should hate, but— for some reason, didn't? "Why would I do that?"
Vi sighs, shaking her head and taking another step closer. "I don't know," she shrugs with another lopsided grin. Looking Kiramman in the eyes, she remembers Viktor's message and takes a leap of faith. "Is there something pretending to go out with me could help you with?"
