Billy Kaplan is a new student at Xavier High School, fresh from a previous life of bullying and loneliness.
On his first day, he meets Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang, who drag Billy headlong into the cliques, relationships and mayhem of high school.
Will Billy finally find somewhere where he belongs? Will he and Tommy finally stop snapping at each others' throats long enough to get along? And what about the elusive Teddy Altman?

"I had a few… kingly mouthfuls, let's say that. I couldn't help it — I didn't wanna look like a sissy in front of the boys."
"The boys?" Billy asked, incredulous.
He shrugged, sheepishly.
"They had a sending-off party."
"So let me guess — you told the guys you were going home to slam some pussy, and they made you neck a bottle before you left? Am I in the ballpark?"
Teddy's face couldn't exactly go red, given that it was already green, but it did deepen in colour around his cheeks.
"I would never say 'slam some pussy' — you freak — but yes, I may have let slip that I was… excited to see you, and they may or may not have forced me to do a keg stand."
"A keg stand, Teddy? How old are you?"
Billy and Teddy come home drunk, and sexy shapeshifting shenanigans ensue.
Part of my ongoing X-Men series (albeit tangentially).

Bobby and John join their friends for a night out, inviting along a lonely Billy Kaplan, who misses his spacefaring husband.
At the same time, all is not well in the Allerdyce-Drake home. Nothing that can't be fixed with a little mutant interference, anyway.
There's a better summary in the opening chapter notes!
Just something nice, part of my ongoing X-Men series.

All of my Marvel works in one place.
Mostly X-Men, branching out into Young Avengers now as my mind is slowly consumed by Hulkling/Wiccan brainrot.
Asterius got a shiny new armor from The Pact of Punishment Zagreus had signed. It was.. distracting, to say the least.
After another defeat at the hands of the wicked fiend Zagreus, Theseus ponders taking his advice (which he likely parroted from a far superior, un-daemonic hero) and spending his eternity with Asterius doing things more enjoyable than taking his Infernal Weapons to the heart.
Theseus has some ideas.
Something felt not right. The beast’s breathing had only grown more heavy with Theseus standing before him; every inch of those muscles had drawn tense, and his ears were pricked with what Theseus could only assume to be animalistic interest. There was an electricity between them and it only mounted in the silence. This was how heroes felt before their trials, Theseus was certain. The anticipation, so palpable, and the line that drew him to his opponent, like there was nothing else in the universe but them. Excitement leapt in his chest as the minotaur’s hesitation must have caved to some other desire, for the beast shifted, his powerful limbs pulling him into a stand. But as he did so, his legs parted, revealing what he had been so fervently hunched over.
Theseus nearly dropped his sword.
(Theseus embarks on his noble quest to slay the monster of the labyrinth, but instead finds that the minotaur is in rut.)
Demeters' frost lingers with Theseus post-battle, and Asterius offers him comfort.
There is no point in sleeping, not when neither dream nor darkness can compare to Asterius’ restful face. It is hard enough to keep his eyes from Asterius’ powerful body while they do battle together; afterwards, with his breath so calm in his chest and his limbs so soft and tired across the grasses, Theseus can scarcely restrain himself. Asterius looks the portrait of a hero, and gods, it sets his heart racing more frantically than even in the midst of combat. He longs to touch his chest and feel the sheer strength of it, to know it as intimately as he knows his own skin.
So he does.
