The panther yawns in a very familiarly condescending way.

Summary
Izuku was trapped with Overhaul for a year, determination weakening day by day, before he met Eri.
She was small, defenseless, and one day, when Chisaki decided he had no more use for her, she would die.
Izuku may have grown numb to his fate of living the rest of his life in captivity, however long it was before Chisaki grew bored of him, but he couldn't let that happen to her—so he took Eri and ran like hell.
Running from a monster in human skin while hiding where he came from would hard to juggle, but Izuku was determined.
He had to be there to take care of Eri, after all.
