“Fuck it,” Bakugou exhales angrily, more to himself, and then suddenly is leaning over Todoroki where he sits, arms by his sides and face close to his. "It doesn't matter what kind of weird mind game you're playing. I'll beat you no matter how much better than me you think you are."
"When you're not acting out I actually respect you a lot," Todoroki corrects mildly. It's said in part because he wishes Bakugou would get over this complex and in part because he's starting to develop a knack for making Bakugou pull the face he's pulling now. "You're really not that bad these days."
Bakugou blinks furiously, then sags abruptly, expression gone disheartened. "You've lost it. I- what's next? You gonna declare your love for me mid-battle?”
“I don’t think so, no,” Todoroki replies, instinctively, then stills, thinking about it.
“I’m fucking- going,” Bakugou continues, undeterred and jittery. “Fucking weirdo.”
He's up and gone in a hurry, casting a last disturbed glance back over his shoulder, and Todoroki stays very still, looking blankly at the sky.
Well, shit.
He thinks he may have missed a few things while redefining his feelings.

Summary
On Tuesday, Bakugou Katsuki’s world was normal. Tsukasa’s hair was blue, Tatsuya’s skin was green, and Kagami had ridiculously long limbs for a four-year-old. These were all changes that had happened that year due to their quirks.
On Wednesday, Tsukasa’s hair was back to black, Tatsuya’s skin was a warm beige tone, and Kagami was back to being a normal height for a child his age. It was his quirk, he realised. It prevented him from seeing, hearing, touching or even experiencing quirks.
But what about his dream of being a hero...?
Or,
Katsuki gets a different quirk. He and Izuku stay friends, becoming best friends instead.

Summary
Katsuki had an incredible quirk, blessed with nitroglycerin-like sweat, paired with the stunning looks of his mother and the explosive attitude to match. His confidence was frankly out of this world and Izuku has never met a person more beautiful. Kacchan was Izuku’s image of victory, even more so than All Might, with his feral smiles and stubborn drive to advance and get stronger. This truth is all twisted up in the first so thoroughly, Izuku’s not even sure how to untangle them anymore.
He’s long stopped trying to make sense of the bitter parts of their relationship clashing with all the sweet because—simply put—’Kacchan is Kacchan’.
Though admittedly, even closely as Izuku has followed doggedly at Kacchan's heels over the years, for as long as he’s been chasing the other boy’s back, he’d still be the first to admit how eerie it can get sometimes—how often things 'worked' out for Bakugou Katsuki.
Kacchan has always been *unreasonably* lucky.
