"Yet you won't give the answer to the acting sect leader"
"I didn't go for the Lan sect, I went looking because Lan Zhan wanted the answer and because Zewu jun asked me to"
"You would watch the world burn for two people"
"Oh no, grandmaster. You misunderstand." Wuxian replied with a cold smile "For Lan Zhan, I will burn the world down and scatter the ashes."
Alternatively: rogue cultivator Wei Wuxian messes up canon and everybody in his path for Lan Zhan but will not confess to said man.
P.S: I suck at summary before the story is complete but this will cover canon events except Wuxian is a somewhat well adjusted rogue cultivator. Updates weekly on Fridays.

Junior year starts off with adequate sleep, more sugar-infested coffee, and the return of a Lan that turns Wei Wuxian's world upside down in the best way possible.
There are blood and tears, flushed cheeks and small smiles, and somewhere along the way, two people fall in love.

“Hey hey, Lan Zhan! It’s Wei Ying, your old classmate—remember me? It took me a really long time to track you down, you know! You should give your security people a bonus, they’re very good at hiding your home address. Ah, you probably get a lot of stalkers, huh? With all the media buzz you’ve been getting for your superstar cultivation abilities and that pretty face of yours, I’m sure everyone’s clamouring for a piece of Lan Zhan. But don’t worry! Wei Ying is here now, I can fend off the massing hordes. All I ask in return is the use of your couch! Or if you don’t have a couch, I’d be happy with a rug. Hahaha, I’d be happy with a soft plank of wood. You know me! Low-maintenance, that’s what they say about Wei Ying.”
Lan Zhan is not going to burst into tears. He tells himself this very sternly, and motions Wei Ying inside. He manages to keep his voice relatively steady as he says, “Wei Ying. Please come in.”
Lan Zhan was giving him a window. It was Wei Ying’s job to take the leap and hope he caught him before he plummeted to the stained concrete below.
“Do you want me, Lan Zhan?”
The room was silent.
Lan Zhan had stopped moving, possibly even stopped breathing. Wei Ying certainly had. He didn’t want to ruin their friendship— if this was friendship—
“Want you?” Lan Zhan asked, his voice sounded as delicate as Wei Ying’s will to continue on.
Wei Ying is a poor college student and thinks Lan Zhan wants to provide for him.
