Summary
Peter wakes in a hole in the ground of a house. Next to him is a man of approximately his age, eyes burning Alpha red, who smells exactly like his 15-year-old nephew. Peter seems to be in a house that smells like burnt wood and ashes and looks oddly like his childhood home. A young girl with fiery hair and terrified eyes cowers in the corner of the room looking at him like he is going to gut her. There is a mirror reflecting the light of the moon on him.
‘Ah the worm moon ritual, that means I must have died then…’
Peter gets out of his hole, then crouches down to the young man’s level.
“Can you stand? I realize that the ritual takes its toll on energy, but since you went through the trouble of resurrecting me, I would like to know who you are, and why you smell like my nephew?”

a month after the battle of new york, the avengers are notified of a potential extraterrestrial threat in washington d.c., where they meet special agents fox mulder and dana scully also investigating. when tony and mulder are abducted, it’s up to the avengers and scully to save them.

There was a small bit of rustling before someone who sounded vaguely familiar started speaking, “Ah. Hello Mr-uh, Mr Stark. This is Principle Jim Morita from Midtown Tech. Um, it says here that you’re listed here as one of Peter Parker’s emergency contacts, is that correct?”
Tony paused, wondering why the fuck Peter’s school was calling him. “Yeah. Yeah, why? What’s up? Is Peter hurt?” He found himself picking up his pace, as he moved down the stairs, making a mental note to apologise to Pepper later.
“No, no. Well, yes, but not badly. He’s-he’s fine. No, what I was calling to say is that Peter has gotten into trouble at school today. We, uh, we need you to come in.”
