"I especially like the weird glowing runes that make a magic wall around you." He picked up and threw a tiny pebble at said wall only for it to bounce back off of it. "Very modern."
"I wonder how long you've been down here," He whispered as he glanced around the room once again, "I wonder what you did to be caged here in magic, must have been something epic. But then again, doesn't look like anyone is guarding you, so maybe it wasn't that great after all."

“What?” Wilbur stood up quickly to walk over to one of the mirrors, brushing his hair with his fingers as Tommy cackled.
“... Tommy, did you also think of me and Phil while you were walking past?” Techno asked.
“If you are that eager for me to insult you too Techno you need only ask, my good friend! I’ve been saving some choice insults for such a moment-” Techno interrupted before Tommy could even begin his list.

Summary
OrPhil had been called many things during his life. He had more titles than he knew what to do with by virtue of his position as the King of Antarctica.
(He didn’t care much for most of them, but there was always one title that he treasured more than anything. His title of “dad”.)
But before he had found his family, before he had been elevated to the position of King he had been given a title by the people. A title that he had thought he had set down and buried with his past. A title that was being forced upon him once again.
They had forced his hand and so the God of Death spread his wings once more.
Phil finds the supposed dead bodies of his sons on the battlefield and goes full sicko mode on the culprits.

“Because they—” Phil huffed, clearly trying to get his thoughts in order as he wiped his cheeks. “They’re just little! So they need a mom or a dad! And— And no grown-ups wanted them, even when I asked, so I have to be their dad! Because it’s not fair that they’re alone!”
Tommy leaned down, looking Phil in the eyes. “But who’s going to be your parent?” he asked, “You’re a kid too. Don’t you deserve a dad?”
Phil breathed in sharply. “I’m fine,” he insisted, eyes dropping towards the floor, “I’m not as little as them.”

Summary
The prince freezes, not even breathing as tiny fingers ghost across his feathers. His head is buzzing, and his throat is tight as he swallows back a warble. Tommy is just a chick, he’s so little and the sight of him is making Wilbur’s instincts go haywire.
The blond whistles, and then his hand is pulling back, and Wilbur twitches, nearly moving to grab it again. He clears his befuddled thoughts with a shake of his head, and realizes that the little avian has gotten to his feet once more and is scuttling back into the darkness.
Wilbur can’t even switch from twitters to words in time to call for him. It’s probably a good thing. He didn’t need to wake the guard up.
Or
Wilbur was captured as a prisoner of war, and imprints on an avian hatchling in the enemy camp.
