Summary
“Corvo, I can't do this anymore,” Piero says. “I know, I know, I was the one who gave the terms on our first meeting, but this... arrangement of ours. I can't keep up with you.”
The workshop looks like it was recently vacated by a dragon. Piles of money glitter beneath tables and in corners. Loose coins can be found jammed into delicate machinery and sitting at the bottom of Piero's morning coffee. A mixed heap of Overseer masks and raw munitions walls off the table across from the entrance. A line of rolled-up paintings leans against the stairway.
Corvo shrugs – not his problem – and goes on emptying his pockets onto Piero's floor.
It takes most of an hour.

“He doesn’t get out much,” Corvo said apologetically.
“One could also say I am constantly ‘out’. I am, after all—”
“Don’t say it,” Corvo said, trying for stern and falling somewhere closer to pleading. “Please.”
The Outsider gave Corvo a look, but obligingly remained silent about the truth of his identity.
Corvo takes a day off. The Outsider, temporarily human, joins in the fun.

Summary
They call him the Leviathan but somehow nobody ever stopped to consider why that was. In retrospect, thinking about that before going out to hunt whales may have been a good idea. It's an oversight that Corvo survives just barely and one that will prove to have irrevocable consequences on his life.
