    Summary

“It is one thing to know that your child will grow up and fall in love with the one that shares their mark and an entirely different thing to see the proof before your eyes; proof that your child will not only lead a different life from you, but be taken from you by someone who you may never get the chance to know…”

-From the personal journal of Belladonna Baggins

Billa Baggins had grown up knowing that she was different, and it was not simply because of the fact that she was a Took-Baggins. While that was a partial factor to her strangeness, what was more definite was her flowering on the back of her left ear. Unlike other Hobbit flowerings that marked out the name of their soul mates, Billa’s flower was in a different language that was clearly not Hobbitish, with rough runes that were slightly warm to the touch.
Everyone in the Shire knew that Billa was not ever going to marry another respectable hobbit.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Billana Baggins and Dwalin are soul mates. She exchanges letters with him and Balin for years before they meet when Gandalf brings her to meet with the company in Bree and go on the quest. Book 1 ends on the Carrock. Rest of series incomplete, but I like this.

    Keeping to read when updated.

    Summary

Bilbo is thought to have died during the Battle of the Five Armies, but in reality she has returned home to Shire, believing that she is forever banished from her friends sides and that they are far better off believing that she is indeed dead. However, her plans to remain dead to them are complicated by the most precious treasure a certain Dwarf King left her with and by a few friends who simply refuse to believe that she had truly gone from Middle-Earth.
Bilbo believed that her journey was done, she had gone there and had come back, her story was finished, she had no idea that she had just walk headlong into another.

    Bookmarker's Notes

I have read 1st story, which ends with Bilba Baggins, pregnant with Thorin's twin sons, banished by him. She decides to head back to the Shire, fearing that Thorin would take her children from her. In the immediate aftermath of the BOFA, Fili and Kili, who had presented the idea of using the arkenstone as a bargaining tool, and who love Bilba like a sister, decide to leave with Bilba as she heads home to the Shire. Bilba is sassy, strong, and willing to do whatever it takes to protect those she loves.

Start with ch. 23. Bilba has left the Shire with.her twin sons, Fili and Kili. At the Prancing Pony in Bree, she learns from Aragorn, Glorfindel and 3 of her hobbit friends that the Nazgul are coming. Fleeing into the wild, she finds that Thorin has come to seek her forgiveness
He pledges himself as her servant, tries to protect her from the Nazgul and carries her when she is stabbed by a Morgul blade. She recovers in Rivendell and has just decided to forgive Thorin and move to Dale. The council has been held. A fellowship is formed. Glorfindel battles the balrog in Moria so the others can escape. Gandalf had died at the BOFA, keeping the witch king at bay. Bilba, the ring bearer, and the rest of the fellowship, have entered Lothlorien. Galadriel encourages Bilba to take the ring alone. Adalgrim is being tempted. Orcs attack. Bilba entrusts the ring to Fili before she and her fellow hobbit are captured and taken to Saruman. He cuts Adalgrim with a Morgul blade to get her to reveal the ring's location. Isengard is attacked by the rest of the fellowship and the ENTS. Glorfindel survived and fought Saruman, along with Gsndalf, who was sent back.

    Summary

Bilba has grown up the unwanted granddaughter of the Thain of the Kingdom of Shire but, as she rarely visits the palace, the relationship holds little meaning to her. Instead she focuses on her second year of college, her ballet career and her slowly burgeoning romance with Bofur, a crew member with her ballet company.

The same day Bilba is set to preform on stage for the first time with her company, the kingdom of Shire is anticipating another event. That very evening will oversee the political, arranged marriage between Thorin Durin, Crown Prince of Erebor, and an unnamed Princess of Shire (so unnamed because Bilba's grandfather is a paranoid bastard).

Bilba doesn't care about any of this, she hasn't been invited and has no interest in other countries, politics or other such machinations.

Just before she's set to preform, however, Bilba suddenly finds herself dragged from the theater and taken to appear before her grandfather at the palace.

There she is informed she WILL be participating in the wedding after all.

    As the bride.

Whether she likes it or not.

    Bookmarker's Notes

This was so well done. An adventure of epic proportions with mucho angst and a female Bilbo learning to love and trust again after going through hell.
Bilba is born in Moria after her mother Belladonna is captured by orcs. Dwalin is her dad but doesn't know about her. Bilba lives as a slave, eventually becoming Azog's personal slave, in and out of the arena, where slaves who rebel are pitted against each other and orcs. One day she meets Frerin and his dragon, who have been captured. In the aftermath of a battle where Frerin"s family attempts to get him back, Frerin removes his dragon's baby from her womb and begs Bilba to escape with the baby. Bilba had been visiting Frerin as often as she could. Bilba escapes with the baby, is found by Primula, a hobbit dragonrider, brought to the Shire where she is nursed back to health, and lives peacefully in the Shire for about a year before Azog sends a bunch of orcs to capture her and the dragon. Bilba has become a ranger and escorts caravans. After the attack on the Shire, Bilba and the dragon leave and spend 4 years hunting orcs before Bilba is placed in such mortal danger that Syrath the dragon fetches his other rider, Prince Fili.of Erebor. Bilba is brought to Erebor, nursed back to health, and slowly learns to trust Fili and his family. Eventually it comes to light that Morgoth's lieutenant Gothmog has been alive for centuries and has been looking for 4 magical keys created to hold the spirit of Morgoth within the dead body of his dragon Sauron, biggest dragon ever. Aided by orcs and a pair of dwarven nobles who want revenge for losing loved ones at Moria, Bilba fights with the dwarves of Erebor and other races of Middle Earth to stop Gothmog, and Morgoth, who he manages to release, from destroying Middle Earth. In the final battle, Bilba and Frerin, who was kept alive as Azog's new slave, have a front row seat and Bilba stops Morgoth, who Legolas accidentally gives full freedom to, by wearing the 4th key, the hobbit one, which opens a pathway between her mind and Morgoth's, but also allows her to create a pathway and create bonds with every adult dragon in Middle Earth, and with that many souls behind her, she stops Morgoth. She can't destroy him, but she destroys the body he inhabits.
In the 2nd story, Bilba gets help dealing with an old enemy and an arrogant, idiotic noble from Rohan who thinks dragons are just trainable animals, like a dog. She then marries Fili and honeymoons in the Shire.
