Summary
Todoroki Shouto was born quirkless.
Yet he developed a burning passion to be a hero despite the fact. With the fictional heroes from an era before quirks to look up to, Shouto is determined to define all odds and prove to the world that anyone can be a hero. To help him with that he dreams of attending UA Class 1-A, but to get there it take a lot of hard work and effort leaving him little for anything else.
He only has to pass the entrance exam, maybe then he'll have time to make a friend or two. He only hopes that the students of UA will still accept him despite being quirkless.
And if they don't?
Well...
He'll just have to prove to them how capable he really is.OR
Todoroki Shouto doesn't care about becoming the #1 hero, he only wants to remind the world what true heroism really is and to start he plans to lead by example. Maybe along the way he'll find a real home.

Tobio is confused. He’s not sure what garnered the apology. He hasn’t thought much about it for a while now since he’s tried to move on. Middle school wasn’t pleasant at all, but his experience isn’t completely their fault. He doesn’t want to put all the blame onto them, he knows he shouldn’t. There were too many factors contributing to the shitty mess that was middle school for him. However, there’s this growing darkness in his chest. It’s building up the more he stands there, listening to their apologies. The feelings he’s tried so hard to ignore because he just couldn’t deal with the emotions resulting from everything that happened at the same time.

The train ride back is something of a nightmare. Not because it goes badly, or because something awful happens, but because Aizawa can’t get rid of this feeling in his chest every time he sees Todoroki’s unusual, carefree smile. He looks like nothing has ever hurt him.
