An au that during the 27 years and i was thinking it would be so cute if the losers club start moving away at whatever age it may be and forget derry but then richie and eddie just happen to end up in the same city and same club years later and hit it off, both at least bi curious by this point? So i figure they live somewhere more accepting. Anyway they hook up and are so into each other and literally dont remember ever loving each other in the first place, their childhood and everything but they fall in love anyway, cause theyre obvi soulmates, and spend the next 27 years loving each other and getting married maybe? Or at least just being able to have a life together you know and then when 27 years hit they get the call from mike to come home and they both are super appologetic cause they have to go away for a while and either right away or not until they get there they realize theyre going to the same place and when they arrive everything is rushing back and, like, holy shit you were my first love. I was so fucking crazy about you blah blah blah while the losers club are confused and trying to understand. Cause they obviously didnt know anything about their past or current relationship.

Eddie squeezed his hand, not knowing what to say. Somehow, knowing that it was temporary amnesia made him feel a lot better. The other man squeezed back, and smiled, but it was a complicated smile. It looked like it hurt.
"You . . ." said Eddie, taking a stab at who the man must be. "Are you my . . . boyfriend?"
The man froze, then scoffed, looking at him with saucer-wide eyes.
(In other words, Eddie wakes up in a hospital just outside of Derry with no memory of who he is or what happened to him.)
