Though Kaeya had finally begun to grow accustomed to his life at the Ragnvindr Manor, it didn't stop the nightmares. Every night, Kaeya was plagued by nightmares of the mission he was to accomplish. Fortunately, he has his new brother to keep him sane through the night. But, Kaeya hopes to break the cycle. Maybe someday he can put the past behind him and look forward to a better tomorrow.

Kaeya had gone for a simple scouting mission after rumours of fatui near dragonspine and suddenly was swept into a bigger affair than he could handle, he's attacked by abyss mages and thrown overseas by instinct his cryo vision froze him to keep him alive. What? The liyue gang is more than confused to find a disheveled stranger on the brink of death while on their picnic.
