When he finds most of his loved ones returning to his life, it's a struggle to connect with them like he used to. Luckily, his best friend is back to remind him that he is loved, by those who were lost and by those who were always there.
Or, where The Kent and the Wayne family find themselves spending more time with each other as their families become more intertwined. Christmas is just a convenient excuse for it.

Said vigilante only released a cute little snore, face buried on her lap, legs thrown over Kon’s, one hand that had fallen from the couch resting on Bart’s head where he sat on the floor in front of them.
"Well, they were going to find out one way or another. And this was probably among the best scenarios."
"How? This was probably out of Tim’s ‘worst case’ nightmare list."
"I was there and saw their faces. I didn’t even know Batman could express any emotion other than ‘cold’ and ‘overflowing with rage’. That image will bring me joy in future distressing times, I’m sure. My patronus memory, if you will."

Summary
Jason’s rage this time around is a little less focused on Tim for being Robin, and a little more focused on Bruce for letting Tim be Robin. He vows to make Bruce regret ever allowing anyone to put on that mantle in the first place. So if he nabs a few batbrats and makes Bruce think he's torturing them to death? Well, that’s just killing two birds with one stone: Bruce doesn’t get to have a Robin, and he gets to be tormented by the knowledge of his absolute failure to protect any of them. Win-win. (Or lose, if you’re Bruce).
Except now Jason has a small and growing collection of Robins, and no idea what he’s supposed to do with them.

Jason may have a problem.
Less crack-y than it sounds. In fact, this is mainly hurt, angst, & reckoning with canon trauma. Comfort will come eventually! There *will* be a happy ending.
