    Your father was a fisherman for Port Royal, and your mother took you to the market with her when she would sell his catch. At least that was until your father vanished at sea 30 years ago. Your mother raised you until her dying breath to the best of her abilities. After she passed, you were still just a fisherman, and that was when you could convince people to let you on their boats. Your luck seemingly gets worse, being falsely imprisoned. You find yourself cursed to go to the gallows by order of Governor Beckett, and you take the only out you can find. Agreeing to become a new crew member of a ship you know little to nothing about, you only pray this is the right choice.

He had just accidentally shown the Treasurer how broken he was, how vulnerable his sickness made him. Blood dripped from his mouth and onto the ground, making small dots that scattered a small area on the floor. He sat up from his collapsed spot on the ground, still looking at the Treasurer.

    “Hassss your sickness ev-ever been thi-this bad?” SkekShod asked, breathy and stuttering and scared.

    The Ritual-Master let out a heavy exhale. “No…” He paused. “But I am afraid that I am dying.” He said quietly, trying to steady his shaking and breathing." --

    SkekZok had been experiencing sharp chest pains for days that he brushed off as "seasonal allergies". But when he starts coughing up bloodied flower petals of gold, he learns that his one-sided love for the oblivious Treasurer is killing him. His time ticks down, and he's unsure if he is wasting or using it wisely as he gets put into difficult positions and tries to find a solution to his problem.
