Summary
“And what if we sealed them?” Iemitsu offered, sounding a mix of desperate and hopeful. Timoteo understood why. The man didn’t want his family to get involved in the mafia and the ability to use flames was like a dead giveaway of such involvement— not the mention the danger the flames themselves could pose to the child.
Still, he shook his head.
“We can’t just seal his flames, Iemitsu; it would cripple him,” he finally said. “The best solution would be to teach Tsunayoshi-kun how to control them.”
Or, the one where Timoteo doesn’t seal Tsuna’s flames and instead Tsuna becomes Reborn’s student a few years too early.

“Yeah, now keep running before I change my mind about all this.”
Izuku squeaked and frantically went back to running. He stared after him.
Or, the one where a villain Izuku from the future goes back in time to train his younger self to become a hero.

Summary
Luffy had been under the effect of dozens of Devil Fruits before. Positive, negative, neutral effects; he'd been affected emotionally, mentally, and physically, had his body beaten and healed, tossed around and cut up and burned and stitched together and everything and anything in between.
The only thing he'd never come across was time travel.

In the original timeline, Shanks took Higuma's mistreatment calmly and with dignity, shaping Luffy's essential character for the rest of his life. In this timeline...
"Huh!" said the kid. He tugged at his cheeks. "Guess I'm in the past, then!" His expression cleared, because apparently that made sense to him, and he grinned. "Shanks! Hey, Shanks, you never told me how cool you are!"

Summary
The line was set – a status quo to maintain. They were supposed to be nemeses, just nemeses and nothing more. But the relationship between them changes over time, changes like the weather, like a mountain massif exposed to erosion – the sharp edges gradually softening, the rigid boundaries that were originally set in stone blur and swirl together into a vivid palette of interactions and understanding.
