    Bookmarker's Notes

this fic is great. it has a good feel to it that makes it seem approachable and reader-friendly. the building and pace are not bad and the wording and character development were admirable. i like how we, the readers, are discovering things at the same pace as armin is, it's like we're with armin in this unpredictable journey; learning to love the titan and discover his secrets. it's beautiful and overall a fantastic read. it was promising the moment it started and it delivered with more perfection than anyone anticipated it would.

    Key Quotes-
Armin remembered the sound, the barest flutter he could feel in his own skin with every solid beat, reminding him that Eren was alive and fantastic and more than Armin could even dream about.

Eren was still gloriously complex, filled to the brim with possibilities just waiting to be revealed. He was still a miracle, breaking down every barrier that Armin had built for himself with the intention of defining possibility. He was still the greatest thing that had ever happened to Armin.

Though he's been dealt many bad cards, Lance isn't sure he can handle this one: winding up stranded, a million lightyears away from home, with only Keith to keep him company.

There was a short pause, and then he took a step closer, cupping Lance’s cheek with his hand in a soft embrace. “Tell me…Is there anything you would not do for your father? For your people?”
Lance swallowed, lost in those bisque orbs. “…Of course not. I am loyal to my blood.”

In which Lance is the original blue paladin, but only remembers in a sunflower field in his dreams.

there are a lot of reasons why I loved this work. I'm a sucker for tragic past-lives so its not really surprising. but, I loved the feel of it, I loved how the author showcased lance's and lotor's love for each other. I loved how she understood that lance was not kieran and kieran was not lance. i loved how she concluded their story- not really, only a part of it. overall, it was a beautiful read and I cried all the way.

    Key quotes-
“We met in the lalet field!”
Lotor slowly lifted his gaze, fixing it on the paladin. He stared back at him, stolen of breath.
“It was raining, and you were drenched.” Lance’s voice lowered into something much more melancholy. He stopped fighting completely, having exhausted himself. “You kissed me under the stars. We had secret picnics and told each other about our dreams. I was…” He smiled tearfully as he was hauled out the door. “Your lalet.”

    He unraveled so beautifully

He remained there until the sun went down, reminiscing about Kieran and Lotor’s time together - the good, the bad, and everything in-between. Their relationship had not been a perfect one, but it had been theirs.

This is hilarious, full of memes and lovable characters. it was so funny i almost pissed myself on multiple occasions. the story is cute, filled with sicks burns, people who are so done with everything and everyone, and tragic backstories. however, it is also a light and an easy read. kudos to the author.

    Key quotes-
Bakugou says it with the most bored tone possible. “Sah-soo-kay is really cool, Sah-koo-ra the beautiful.”
Deku looks like he’s about to fucking pass out now.

“Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt, Kacchan.”
    “Fuck off.”

“no, we’re not perfect. Everyone comes with dirty laundry, some more than others. And yeah, we have an unsavoury history, but I think that just makes our feelings stronger.”

    Bookmarker's Notes

This work of fiction is the definition of a page-turner. i was enthralled the whole time. there was something about this fiction that made me feel all sorts of inexplicable feeling, one of them being happiness. the way the author delved into the lives of the two star-crossed lovers was something so beautiful and breathtaking, the love that they had for each other made me feel longing. in all certainty, the pain and anguish that i felt towards the end was immense. but i loved it, every second of it. for there was hope in the end, bittersweet as it may be.

    Key quotes-
“Maybe Marmora wanted Zarkon to know that when he defied him, he did it as a Galra. That when he fought him, it was Zarkon that betrayed the Galra, not Marmora."

"Because he died protecting her." She answered, as if it was the simplest answer in the universe, and yet the saddest one.

They were Marmora and Althos, she knew it with all of her soul. After all of this time, the universe had allowed them to keep their promise: they had seen each other again.
    It was destiny.
