However, when he undergoes the lighting punishment (ep. 35) to protect his foster brothers after his mother’s death his bracelet breaks and he is to injured to hide his scent using magic.
OR What if Xufeng was originally the one engaged to Jin mi to begin with but Runyu was his true mate? How would he react once he finally noticed? And what if the lighting punishment caused more damage than the show suggested?
