In the mirror, there’s absolutely nothing there.

“What’s the last thing you remember?”
Catra stares at her with narrowed eyes. She isn’t sure she can trust her, or anything, at this point. At the same time, though, she feels like she doesn’t have any other options. The Fright Zone is conquered. She has nowhere to go. “... Activating the Portal. And then I woke up here.”
Adora sucks in a quick breath. Catra’s eyes dart over to her—she looks like she’s about to be sick, white-knuckled and pale.
Scorpia’s brows knit together. “Catra, that happened over five years ago.”

Catra loses her memory. She struggles to find her place in an unfamiliar world, somewhere between hating Adora and loving her.

Reeling in the wake of her mother's death, Caitlyn navigates a new kind of darkness. Vi, impossibly guilty, keeps pulling her out of it, which isn't easy when you have a darkness of your own to contend with. Grief is loud. Fortunately, so is love.

Summary
They came in through the front gate, this time. No more window climbing. The house – mansion, residence - was dark, and neither of them bothered turning any lights on. They leaned into each other on the stairs, undisturbed by whichever staff must be here, somewhere. An empty building, with people in it. Vi frowns at the bathroom door and wonders what it must be like to never be alone, even when you are.

In the aftermath of Jinx's attack on the council, Vi takes Caitlyn back to Piltover and reckons with the latest in a long line of losses. Her sister proves harder to leave behind than she planned. So does Caitlyn.
