Lena is asked who her first love was and why she fell in love with them.
My take on how Lena would answer.
Inspired by a dude from TikTok asking the very same question to strangers and sharing their stories on his account.
After a long day at work, Lena‘s hit by a car that ran a red light at full speed.
They say that one usually sees their whole life play out in front of them again.
For Lena, it‘s not exactly her whole life. For Lena it‘s the past six years.
And more so, centered around a certain blonde and their time together.
But Lena has some regrets she‘s not sure she‘ll ever be able to fix now.
Also: This is semi-canon with what happens on the show. Kara being Supergirl or not is not relevant for the story so far and I don't think it will be for the future.
Kara had an accident, a life-altering, mind fucking, shit-stirring, scientific phenomenon of an accident. And now she doesn't age. Stuck at age 25 for the past - years, she’s had people come and go as they bear victim to the circle of life. You get old and you die. And in the early parts of her - years, Kara has loved and lost. Over time she grew accustomed to her new lifestyle, creating a routine. Avoiding making personal relationships, moving every 3 years. Never staying long enough to raise suspicion. She’s been doing it all her life, avoiding any threat to her system. That is until she visits a quaint little bookstore on the other side of town.
The "Age of Adaline" AU where Kara never ages and Lena is well… a combination of things.
