Izuku Midoryia has always wanted to be a Hero, even before the villain attack that took his eyesight. After that attack, he has to cope with a quirk that not only holds the key to his future success, but also his new form of "sight".
(basically a fic where i thought "hey, what if Izuku had a quirk that controlled all 4 elements like in Avatar, but was blind and used his earth bending quirk to "see" like Toph did? Dadzawa and Dad might will come later, i promise)

Blind. Quirkless. Useless.
The first two things were stated clearly by the doctor that sat about five feet in front of Izuku. The third was a word that Kacchan called him everytime he failed to make the jump on whatever forest excursion they were on or when he ran into a tree because he hadn’t seen it.
“I’m so, so sorry, Izuku.” Was his mom giving up on him already? But he could still be a hero if he tried hard enough, right? Quirkless or not. Blind or not. Just because Izuku was useless now didn’t mean he would stay that way forever, right?

Those were the last words Midoriya Izuku heard just before his childhood friend, before Bakugou Katsuki sacrificed his life for him. Now, months later, with All for One gone, those words still echo in his head. And as a full-fledged hero Izuku vows to never be that weak again. But when a newborn baby is abandoned on his doorstep, Izuku wonders what he should do: give it to another family or keep it.
And here's another question he can't seem to answer: why does the baby remind him so much of his dead friend?

A series of villain attacks leaves UA's teachers, students and parents injured, reeling, and searching for answers. When bargains, blackmail and betrayals blur the lines between Heroes and villains, even Aizawa can't keep his kids and Shinsou safe, without the assistance of some unlikely allies.
> Izuku stammered like an idiot as Todoroki’s lips twitched up in that small hint of a smile that made his pulse race.
> “Don’t you hurt them!” Inko cried, terrified and infuriated, her Quirk instinctively activating as a shower of sand flew for the flaming villain’s face without conscious thought, her body just moved.
> A dozen half-laid battle plans shattered at Shouto's feet like broken glass. Of all the things he had thought his father might ever say to him, that had never made the list.
> “Pikachu and Deku and Icy Hot are going to be OK, right?” Katsuki asked, hating the way his voice sounded, like he was a little kid, or broken.
> The look in Dabi's eyes changed, to something that burned worse than his fire ever could, because it was poignantly familiar, but gone forever, and seeing that look in the eyes of a stranger, a murdering villain, was more than Hawks could stand.
