A headcanon re: why Barba was so heartbroken when he found out that Benson was involved with Tucker. Mostly set immediately after December Solstice. Headcanon, broken hearts, and scotch.
Written as a one-shot that fits into canon. Continues in the series with "Interest," followed by "Some Words I Never Told You," a case-fic-ish excursion where Season 19 never happened (or parts of it happened very differently and at different times).
