Summary
Okay, it wasn’t like Nile had spent her whole damn life obsessing over who she was planning on kissing for the first time or possibly giving part of her long held virginity to. She thought about it like a…normal amount. You know, the normal amount for a previously very religious and painfully shy person who had died and became a new immortal and was rescued by and brought into the warm clutch of a new group of friendly smoking hot immortals before she had even gotten the chance to so much as kiss anybody.
She just wanted somebody to kiss her and maybe touch her vagina with their hand a little, but that was it, and Booker seemed like the best candidate for the job since he was sweet, seemed like he would be pretty great with his fingers, and he had eyed her up like he wanted to eat her alive from day one.
It turned out that Booker was great at fingering her even if he was going a bit too overboard about it but he… he suddenly wasn’t stopping or listening to her and please, Booker, stop, I don’t want you to touch me like that. Stop, Booker, stop!

Summary
Nile’s life hasn’t been that awful since she died for the first time in 1912.
Okay, granted, working for Merrick Pharmaceuticals and acting as their oldest living immortal lab rat wasn’t exactly what she had dreamed of doing all her life. It was also a bit lonely being the only one of her kind, but Nile was fine, really.
All of that looks like it might just change when a burly Frenchman with the saddest blue eyes that Nile has ever seen walks into her into her ravenous wolf den of a workplace and asks to be cured of his immortality.
Lykon would just like to know where his best friend wandered off to. Nicky and Joe are the first people to jump on board with looking for Booker despite the way that they both had nearly two hundred years of very painful romantic yearning built up for Lykon, because they’d never want to get between Lykon and his
boyfriend.Everybody needed another miscommunication or incorrect assumption like they needed another hole in their head, but that never seemed to slow motherfucking Destiny down any as their lives and relationships started to mix together in new and unexpected ways.

Summary
There are thirty different universes where any possible combination of Joe, Nicky, Booker, and Nile are either together, or could be together. There is also a Lykon, a Andy, and a Quynh in all of those different universes who think that it’s great that those four are in each other’s lives that way. No, really, it’s wonderful. Nile, Booker, Nicky and Joe are obviously all consenting adults, and they’re clearly having a fantastic time together, but would it really kill the four of them to chip in more on the monthly take out pizza bill and stop hiding bottles of lube everywhere?

Summary
Nile likes Booker, and Booker likes Nile. Neither of them are planning to tell each other, and everybody else is done with their moronic thought processes. Joe and Nicky are trying their best to coax them through it with the creeping realization that their own feelings about the two of them might be more complicated than they had first thought.
Of course the Losers and some other people just had to come along and throw a metaphorical car bomb into the process. Some of the side effects from that car bomb are better than others.
(The crossover really only gets going by Chapter 4.)

Nobody has ever said that falling in love is easy. Well- I mean they have said that, but they obviously weren’t looking at Nile falling in love with Booker while Joe and Nicky had been falling in love with them as Quynh, Andy, and the two Gods in the form of Drew and Samara was falling in love with- Okay, okay, the point is that those eight very different people have all managed to find and happily fall in love with each other.
They’re going to stay in love with each other too, because rampant miscommunication issues, shared trauma, all around martyr tendencies and globe trotting adventures can usually be solved by copious amounts of lube and raunchy yet tender sex, hair care, cuddling, trying to talk more to each other, and by being there for each other.
Now that’s how you fall in love and stay there.
