Lambert did his best not to get swept up in mortal politics. It didn't work. When he gets into trouble with a baron in Kerack, fighting his way out of the situation seems hopeless. Good thing Jaskier is nearby. Good thing he knows the baron in question. Good thing he wields power all his own in the world of the nobility.
Oh, and did he mention his name is Julian?
Set in the If I Starve timeline, but also works as a standalone. This one is pretty heavy on the friendship between Jaskier and Lambert, but I tagged it as Jaskier/Geralt because they are together in this 'verse.

Jaskier knows that, for the most part, he’s useless. A burden. He’s pretty and he sings well, but he doesn't have much more to offer Geralt on his Path. Medicine, though, is a decidedly useful skill. It’s one that does not require strength or fighting ability- just a sharp mind and hours of study. And oh, how Jaskier has studied.
If only Vesemir would stop underestimating him.
Part of a series, technically, but can absolutely be read as a standalone.

The witchers of Kaer Morhen have never been comfortable with gentle touches. It just isn't who they are. But when Geralt arrives to spend the winter with his brothers looking more relaxed than any of them have felt in years, all due to the affection of a human bard, Lambert and Eskel grow curious. They wonder what it would be like to be touched or held without fear.
When Lambert runs into Jaskier in a small town in Redania, it's the safest he's felt in years. He and his brothers need touch and kindness more than they're willing to admit, and all Jaskier wants it to help , if only the witchers would let him.
Geralt and Jaskier are together, all the other relationships are platonic with a good helping of touch-starvation on the side.
- Part 1 of If We Must Starve (Let it be Together)
A man named Cas wakes up in 2003 with no memories, but he's able to piece together a few things:
1. Supernatural creatures exist, and most of them will hurt innocent civilians if he doesn't stop them;
2. He has abilities that no human hunter should have, but he knows enough about human hunters to keep that to himself, and finally;
3. He keeps running into another hunter named Dean Winchester, who seems to be about as lonely as he is if he's willing to put up with those former facts long enough to help Cas unravel the mystery of who (or what) he really is.
For his part, Dean's still (not) dealing with Sam's departure to Stanford, and figures distracting himself with a bit of mystery and intrigue is as harmless as it gets, right? Right.

The one closest to him raised his trembling sword with a panicked expression at the unexpected violence. “Wh--what the fuck? You’re just a bard.”
Jaskier’s smile was more a baring of his teeth, made more alarming with the blood sprayed across his skin and clothing. “Your first mistake was believing that.”
Geralt and Jaskier are ambushed by a pack of mercenaries. It was really their fault for believing the yellow eyed Witcher was the only threat.
