    Summary

Crowley is plagued by dreams of a life he lived long before time had even begun. It's two years after the Apocalypse-That-Didn't, and though he's got a healthy bit of fear of what may come next, choosing to ignore these dreams seems a much better use of his time. In those two years, Aziraphale had moved into his flat, and they may or may not be dating.

They don't talk about it, but they do get along just fine with their play-pretend routine, which proves a bit rickety when neither of them age. To avoid suspicion, Aziraphale thinks it wise that he spend some time presenting as a woman. This, a catalyst to the end Crowley had feared before, because it's hard to resist the idea of children when the opportunity presents itself.

Aziraphale blinks as it slowly dawns on him exactly what he’s looking at. Crowley has a tattoo. Well, another one anyway. Unlike the small serpent curled just beneath his temple, this one takes up far more space.

The door gave way with a crack, and several large, armed men stepped into the room. They stared at Aziraphale for a long moment. A few glanced at each other, and one muttered something. The closest one drew his sword.

And then a familiar voice said, “Aziraphale?

    Summary

It's summer in Florence and Hell thinks it's Crowley's fault that all the local kids have taken up an interest in dueling. Crowley's content to kick back and enjoy the wine, until he hears Aziraphale is planning to answer a challenge in the morning. It's easy enough for him to insert himself into the middle of it, but not even Crowley was anticipating how truly incompetent he is with a sword.

    Summary

He was about to turn and make his way back to the archives when a low, soft voice spoke up from behind him. “Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned…” Azira paused. It was rather late for someone to be coming in for a confessional, Father Sandalphon had long since retired to his chambers, though he supposed a soul in need of repentance kept their own form of time. “Oh dear,” he started, turning to the speaker, “I am terribly sorry, but you’re looking for Father Sandalphon and I’m afraid he’s…” the words died in his throat as he turned to face the visitor. Beautiful was the first word to slip into his mind, Demon following quickly on its heals as he found himself staring at the man-shaped being standing in the middle of the nave.
