She wore that Granger expression, the one that said she was going to bully someone into something. Draco had a bad feeling it was about to be him. “I’ll marry you,” Hermione said.
“Don’t be ridiculous.”
“I’m not doing it for free. I marry you, then after a year we divorce and you agree to fund S.P.E.A.M.B. In perpetuity.”
“Out of the question.”
“It’s just one year. We would both get what we want.”
“Contracted marriages require consummation,” he said, adding a leer for good measure.
Granger had gotten more attractive since their Hogwarts days, he would give her that much. Her jumper was atrocious, though. He had half a mind to burn it.
To his everlasting shock, she merely shrugged. “It’s just sex. I’ve had it before and I presume you have too.”
She was utterly serious. Draco stared at her and contemplated being married to her. She was irritating and he might make her promise to never wear that jumper again, but it was better than the alternative.
Draco would do just about anything to avoid being poor.
“Then congratulations, Granger. You've got yourself a husband.”
Hermione stepped closer, hand coming to rest just above his heart, and his chest loosened. Draco slipped his hands around her waist and tugged her against him, brushing their noses together. “Did you want a tour?” she murmured, looking up at him through her eyelashes.
“Pretty sure I can see all of it from right here,” he replied, catching her lips with his. It was a lazy kiss, the urgency of earlier melting away.
“You can’t see the bedroom,” Granger countered, mouth finding that spot just below his ear that made his vision go white.

“I need you to have sex with me.”
Draco stared at her, sure he had misheard. “Pardon?”
Hermione looked up at the ceiling, taking a deep breath. “I have it on good— I have heard— oh bloody hell,” she muttered. “I’m bad in bed. I need practice.”
His lungs had entirely stopped working. “Practice,” he repeated dully.
“And you came to me why?”
“Because what else are we going to do here this month?”
- Part 1 of call it what you want
Hermione has never been the biggest fan of her new coworker, but an early morning errand to his flat has her seeing him in a new light.
DILF!Draco, and Surprised She's Into It!Hermione.
“Earl Grey,” a deep voice said, and it was like walking straight through a ghost. Her stomach plunged, her veins turned icy cold, and she made herself count to three before turning around.
It was worse than a ghost. It was him, warm and in the flesh, cheeks slightly flushed from the summer heat outside. Draco hadn’t noticed her yet, too busy paying for his tea, and she inched toward the door. If she could just scoot past the cluster of witches waiting in line, she might be able to—
“Granger?” the barista asked.
Draco’s face went several shades paler. She gave up trying to sneak out and sheepishly wended her way to the counter. Hermione accepted her cup with a meek smile and nodded to Draco like this wasn’t the worst thing that had happened to her in years.
It had been seven years since she had last seen him, standing alone in front of the lake. Everyone else had been crowded into groups, surrounded by their families and loved ones, but Draco was alone.
No one had come to his commencement ceremony, not even his mother.
