Summary
Handsome Jack was well known amongst black markets for being the world's biggest drug lord and head of Hyperion, the world's largest drug cartel. He's got a hot temper, doesn't take anyone's shit, and a body count that steadily rises as his business gets bigger.
Rhys is just a programmer at Hyperion, the richer than it should be tech company. He doesn't ask questions, he just does his job and doesn't look at the numbers.
One night, Rhys gets in the way of one of Handsome Jack's biggest deals of the year, but instead of shooting Rhys on the spot, Jack takes a liking to him and decides he's going to keep him.

Summary
Severus strained his ears, catching small pieces of muttered sentences as Harry Potter spoke to the image he saw in the mirror. Telling a story, Severus realized, of how he made the Quidditch team.
Snape's disdain came back full force. Of course the first instinct of James Potter's son would be to regale his heart's desire with a story about Quidditch.
Only... in this light, Harry Potter did not look much like his father at all.
He wasn't wearing his glasses. Presumably, he'd forgotten them in his rush to exit his dorm. Without his father's signature spectacles, the soft glow of the boy's lumos reflected brightly in his green eyes. The same green as Lily's, as Severus was unpleasantly reminded of every first year potions class.
Suddenly, Severus felt a surge of emotion he couldn't quite place.
