“Raise your foul weapons and fight me!”
“Why do I even bother?” he hears him say. A sigh, and then the daemon lowers his weapon fully to his side. “Theseus, I know where Asterius is.”
At that, Theseus—in the middle of prepping another toss of his spear—freezes.
“Speak those words again.”
“Well, I don’t know exactly where he is, but I’ve been everywhere throughout my father’s realm, so I have an idea where he might be held.”
“So you lie!” Theseus cries, aghast.
Or: Asterius is taken by Hades as punishment for Theseus' inability to defeat Zagreus. Zagreus feels guilty that he's caused the shades around him so much pain, but he's unwilling to give up on his quest. Instead, he suggests they find Asterius together. What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
As he scanned the contents of the fridge, something at the very back of the bottom shelf caught his eye. It was a container. A black capsule with a thin window in the front. Shiro brought it out for inspection, turning it over in his hands. It was heavy, containing a glowing liquid that Shiro had never seen before.
“Hey, Sendak?” he yelled, glancing back at the doorway. From his position, he couldn’t see Sendak, but from what he knew he would still be at his desk, toiling away. That wasn’t unusual.
This, though. This was new. As Shiro ran his thumb over the glass panel, he was startled to find that the liquid hummed.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
Shiro didn’t meant to say it out loud. It had just…slipped out.
Since Voltron and the Blades of Marmora had started working together, their forces often intermingled during missions depending on the context. Anything that had to do with intel or subterfuge was often accompanied by a Blade. Shiro was no stranger to many of the Blade members since they worked so closely so often with the paladins, but this was a new experience for Shiro.
Sendak, former commander of the Galra Empire and the guy that had tried to kill all of them—twice!—stood in front of Shiro, his eyebrow raised. As if he had any reason to have doubts.

"What," he said, coming to stop at the end of the couch. "Who? Shiro? …Kolivan?"
Lance paused in examining his nails to raise an eyebrow in Keith's direction.
"Uh, duh? Who else?"
"Kolivan is not interested in me," Keith declared. "That's not—” he laughed, “—that's ridiculous. That's not why he's been acting like this. And besides, he's the leader of the Blades."
Pidge snorted. "That's not what 'the leader of the Blades' was saying when he was checking out your ass."

Mating runs were an archaic form of punishment on omegas hundreds of years ago, when alphas would be let loose in groups to chase after omegas on the cusp of their heats. Once an alpha caught an omega…well.
