“You hate the beach.” Andrew said by way of a greeting, curling his fingers into the cool sand and narrowing his eyes at the back of Neil’s head.
“The beach reminds me of my mother.” Neil replied. -

“Josten’s feeling like there’s not enough exy in our relationship,” Andrew drawled (Neil supressed a grin at hearing Andrew use the word relationship), “and I’m willing to overlook the stickball obsession if you’re interested.”
“What he’s saying,” Neil jumped in, rolling his eyes at Andrew, “is that we’re both interested, if you are.”

Summary
Aaron stared at Kevin Day, standing on national television in his suit next to an equally well-dressed boy, and was suddenly very aware of his worn tracksuit and sneakers that were almost one size too small. He couldn’t see how that shiny boy on the television could be a match for him at all.

Summary
“There’s an enchanted castle West in the Hellian slopes, and apparently it comes with a prince looking for a bride or bridegroom to free him from a dark fae’s curse.”
“I see,” Aziraphale says finally, when he realizes both Gabriel and Uriel are staring at him expectantly. “You want me to marry a beast?”
Gabriel's mouth flattens. “I want you to take this gods’ blessed opportunity to secure your family’s future for good."
OR
Aziraphale is a professional quest hero who just wants to sit by the fire and read a book, if his overbearing family will ever let him; Crowley is a serpent demon who needs a gullible hero he can con into gathering some critical ingredients for a human corporation spell. Hijinks and a lot of terribly inconvenient feelings ensue.

Summary
A thought coalesced in the back of Crowley’s head.
If someone was falling, you could catch them.
*****
“Is there anything…that is to say, do I have any other, um, physical changes?” Aziraphale asked, simultaneously rolling up his sleeves to look at his arms, twisting to try to look at his own back and managing to turn in a circle, nearly stumbling over his feet.Crowley looked at him critically. “Are you usually that short?”
*****
Aziraphale thinks about too much philosophy; Crowley catches him when he starts to fall.

Summary
“So do you have a name?”
“Yeah.” The man who had saved his life less than an hour ago – the white-haired, absurdly buff, weirdly sexy man Jaskier might have called taciturn if he was feeling charitable and surly if he was feeling less so – dug into his second burger.
Jaskier waited. “Are… you going to tell me what it is?”
The man paused mid-bite, and looked at him reproachfully as if to say how dare you. How dare you interrupt me. Can’t you see I’m enjoying my cheeseburger. Can’t you see this cheeseburger is the most important thing in my life right at the moment. He swallowed, and said, “Geralt.”
It turns out almost getting eaten by a werewolf can make your whole life go careening off in a new, terrifying, wondrous, artistically flourishing direction. Who knew?
