“WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR,” a voice booms, cackling uproariously, and Yoongi shoots wide awake, grabbing something near him and throwing it at the door. A loud thump echoes through the dark room, followed closely by a yelp, a crash, and more laughing. “We bring good tidings only in this house!” The voice screeches. Five minutes pass and it’s all silent. Cautiously, Yoongi walks over to the door and flips on the light. A wicker box (his) lays on the floor, next to a key card and a handmade box of half-crushed cookies labeled “for the new neighbor” in glittery golden ink. Yoongi groans, snatching up the keycard and pulling on a jacket.

Summary
