What if Yoshiko was really the Mage of Exodus?
09 Sep 2020
Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

Yuji Itadori was a beta, through and through. There wasn’t any possible way that he wasn’t.
At eighteen years old he hadn’t presented as an Alpha or Omega. He was disappointed, to say the least.
The worst part of it though was that Megumi Fushiguro was an Alpha.
Megumi, with his stupidly good nature and kind sounding heart and how ridiculously good he was at everything, he was everything Yuji ever wanted, but an Alpha needed an Omega, and Yuji was just a plain, bland Beta and Megumi, brilliant, bright Megumi deserved the best.
He deserved an Omega.
Could they ever be together?!

Yuuji circles back to the corpse, nudging it with his toe to make sure it’s really dead, despite Sukuna already doing that earlier. Gross. It smells like barbecue but with a hint of sewer water, something he decides is definitely not a pleasant scent.
Maybe he should take a picture, to commemorate the moment.
He takes out his phone, miraculously not burnt or broken or even cracked, and snaps a quick picture of the steaming corpse. When he opens the app, the thing is still there, shot in surprisingly high quality for his fairly used phone. Why did he think it wouldn’t show up on camera?
“Whatever,” he mutters under his breath, stuffing his phone back in his pocket and making his way back to his duffel bag. At least he’s not more tired than normal.
(later, he thinks about posting the picture online, just to see if other people really can’t see curses. his old twotter account is long gone, but there’s no harm in making another one, right? no way to prove that it’s really him. might as well compile all his near death experiences here.)
or: yuuji is never caught by sorcerers, makes a twitter account, and accidentally meets megumi through it.

When Sukuna had melded into Yuuji’s body, he thought he had gained the perfect vessel; youthful, strong, packed with potential, and both of them harboring a strong interest for one Fushiguro Megumi.
There was only one hiccup: Sukuna was an alpha, now caged in an omega’s body.

Itadori moves to Tokyo and works in a flower shop in his spare time to earn money. Que the awkward shenanigans when he attracts the attention of multiple underground criminals.
Or, Itadori is an oblivious ray of sushine, Fushiguro and Kugisaki are presidents of the Itadori protection squad, Gojo needs to stop loitering around a certain shop and Sukuna is in desperate need of a drink and a reliable wingman.
