“Holy shit,” Stiles breathed, placing the sheet on the table. He cleared his throat, tasting the slight coppery taste of blood on his tongue. “I don’t really know if this will make you feel any better, but I’m Stiles, like Stilinski as in Sheriff Stilinski’s son. I graduated with you, even though you probably have absolutely no clue who I am, but, um what was my point? Oh,” Stiles exclaimed with a sad smile on his face, which Derek could finally see.
“I, well I have cancer. A tumor in my throat actually. Leave it to me to get the condition that nearly no one my age gets.”

Dandelions had a way of soothing hurts like no other medicine. It’s petals, when harvested gently, lovingly, and dried with care, were invaluable. Dandelion oil, when massaged into skin, eased all aches, seen and unseen alike. Jaskier knew this. Perhaps it is why, then, that it is dandelion oil that begins to ease the hurts between him and Geralt. Dandelion oil that brings them closer than even before the mountain, before bitterness and spite made its home in Jaskier’s heart.
Jaskier and Geralt have been on uneven ground since the mountain. Springtime, new growth, and intention is what brings them closer to one another. Perhaps, even close enough to touch.
A tale told in the stages of making dandelion oil.

He got up from Stiles' bed and took one last deep breath in of the concentrated mixed scent of Stiles and himself. He couldn't keep the tears from escaping from his eyes, it was a pain that he could feel all over every fiber of his being. He was halfway out the window with a bittersweet smile on his face remembering all of the times he had sneaked in just to get Stiles' heart racing, when he heard Stiles sobbing and the pounding of a hand into what he could assume was the Sheriff's chest. It was then that he remembered his promise to Stiles, "I'll be here, I'm staying I promise, forever."
Dean Winchester was content with how he grew up. He knew that some of his childhood wasn't exactly... normal, but it wasn't bad.
Follow Dean and Sam as the years pass, and as both brothers learn a thing or two about that thing called life.
Maybe these years weren't as good as Dean made them out to be. Maybe they were a lot worse. Does he even remember all of it? And what does Sam know about what happened in his big brother's younger years?
The Winchester brothers have their own story, long before angels and demons, and it's about time someone found out.
"I can brush my own damn hair, bard."
Jaskier crouches into his line of view, happier than any poor music maker has a right to be.
"Or you could just sit there and rest that shoulder while I do it." The bard smiles, and something inside Geralt fractures at the sight of it.
The evolution of touch between a witcher and his favorite bard.
