Summary
Miyuki stares at the shogi pieces. He reaches out and after a moment’s pause, he moves a pawn. One square forward.
“Good move,” Tetsuya says, in a thoughtful voice.
It’s really not, Miyuki thinks, fighting to keep his expression blank.
Or, Miyuki plays a series of games, and picks up a team along the way.

Summary
“Let go,” Kuramochi growled, still refusing to turn and meet the gaze he could feel boring into his back. There was a pause where Kuramochi thought he might comply, but Miyuki just reaffirmed his grasp instead.
“Not until you say it again.”
Kuramochi’s mouth went dry as those six words tumbled around in his head. He opened his mouth to rebut him, but he quickly snapped it shut as any response he formulated died on his tongue. The room went quiet again for a few tense moments before Kuramochi felt a gentle tug.
“...Please say it again?”

Summary
“Regardless of your need for practicing your aim, this Sawamura Eijun is not meant to be used in such a way!” He kicks at Miyuki’s thigh for emphasis. Not that the firm muscles of Miyuki’s thighs even notice it.
“Oh~,” Miyuki taunts with a smirk. “Not meant to be used that way?” His teasing voice drops lower into a murmur. “Tell me, just how is it you like to be used then?”

Summary
For all their differences in personality, usually they’re always on the same wavelength. It’s the same now, because Miyuki’s gaze slides sideways to the pale pink foliage decorating the deserted pathway as he murmurs, “Right place, wrong timing, Bakamura.”
